I’m thrilled to be part of the NCSA team, and I’m so excited to be teaching 3rd grade! I was born and raised in the Bay Area and graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Environmental Studies. Before becoming a classroom teacher, I worked in Outdoor Education. In 2015, I decided to pursue my teaching credential, and I’ve been in the classroom ever since!
I strive to create a classroom where students feel supported, curious, and comfortable being themselves. I love encouraging students to take risks, think creatively, and discover the joy of learning. I especially enjoy teaching art, STEM, science, and reading.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 7-year-old son. We love gardening, camping, swimming, paddle boarding, and pretty much anything that gets us outdoors!
